AUBURN, Ala.- One northbound lane of South College Street will be closed near the intersection of Samford Avenue next week, April 1-5, as a contractor removes scaffolding and pedestrian protection related to the construction of the Heart of Auburn development. The outside lane will be closed just north of the Samford intersection between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The sidewalk will also be closed while crews begin pouring new sidewalk along College Street.

Traffic control measures will be in place to help travelers navigate around the closures. Motorists are advised to use caution in the area and to take alternate routes to avoid delays.
